Why Do We Call it a Practice?

This week I have a question for you…

No worries—there’s no wrong answer!

Why do we call it a practice?

There’s no simple explanation, but here’s a basic answer: because every day is different. Some days we feel strong and energetic; other days we need to move more gently. Our practice gives us a place to meet ourselves exactly as we are, where we are.

And that’s one of the things I love about teaching online. You can join me from the comfort of your home, take the modifications you need, and move at your own pace—no judgment and no comparisons. You don’t have to be flexible, strong, or “in shape” to practice. You simply have to show up.

We practice together. We move together. And over time, we move toward greater strength, mobility, balance, and confidence—together.

Even a little movement is an investment in how you want to feel tomorrow, how you carry yourself, and how you approach life’s obstacles.

So when life gets busy, I hope you’ll continue to make time for yourself. Roll out your mat, join me online, and let’s practice together. C-ya on the mat!
