Housekeeping and Heart
First, a big thank you!
Thank you to everyone who replied to the questions in last week’s newsletter. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. I promise to give them all thoughtful consideration as we continue to grow and shape the studio together.
Second, a familiar face is back!
Vicki is back teaching the Gentle and Restorative class this Thursday. It was my pleasure to cover last week but it’s great to have her back, so be sure to join her for some time to slow down, unwind, and recharge.
Finally, a little family time…
Since last Wednesday, I’ve been spending time with my family, and I’ll be enjoying the next ten days with them, too. There’s already been plenty of laughter, card-playing, good food, progress on the never-ending chore list, and some good ol’ fashioned light-hearted teasing!
It’s been a chance to step away from my usual routine, enjoy simply hanging out together and appreciate what is right in front of us.
Of course, all that togetherness also calls for the occasional deep breath… and sometimes, let’s be honest, an exasperated sigh thanks to the aforementioned teasing! Either way, it’s a reminder that our breath is always with us, whether we’re finding a moment of calm or simply trying to keep our sense of humor.
After all, wellness isn’t just about what we do on the mat. It’s also about making time for the people we love, share a history with, taking a breath (or a sigh!), and knowing when to slow down and simply enjoy the moment.
I hope you find a little time for all of that this week, too. See you on the mat!
