Where did the name sixteen2five come from? I get this question a lot. I (Becky) had trouble saying my 'R's when I was growing up. Did a couple years of speech therapy, yada, yada, well, when the clock states 4:44 my family likes to ask me, "what time is it?", looking to make me say faux, faux-ty, faux and I found a safer way to answer the question (without 'R's), answering, "it's sixteen to five." 

When the opportunity came up to continue offering online classes I needed to set up a business, make it official and it just made sense to choose a name that meant something to me and it didn't take very long to remember this story. I got my business license and got to work figuring out how to write it in a catchier way so sixteen2five manifested itself and worked perfectly. I was able to keep my creative juices flowing and needed a logo. Well, Vicki's studio named Yoga FORmankind had this great stick figure doing tree pose (vraskasana) in the shape of a '4' as her logo and with her permission, I used three of them to look like 444. So there's the story, thanks to Vicki for allowing me to continue her legacy. I look forward to providing yoga and pilates for years to come!
